Security and privacy into safe automated systems
The EU project Secredas created a powerful reference architecture to help solution architects systematically integrate privacy and security into safe automated systems - while balancing stakeholder concerns.

This architecture enables re-use of proven solution elements, reducing risks of errors and design flaws across automotive, health, and railway domains. It provides:
- Customer, Business & Technical views for clear solution design
- Best-practice privacy & security principles to guide decisions
- Stepwise reasoning methods for applying principles (see Figure 3)

With this framework, architects can confidently apply market-ready security and privacy technologies across diverse contexts, fostering collaboration and consistency.
